(IND VS BAN )The ICC has announced warm-up fixtures for the T20 World Cup, with India set to face Bangladesh in the USA on June 1. However, the venue and time for India’s fixture are yet to be confirmed. Seventeen out of the 20 teams will participate in warm-up games from May 27 to June 1 across the USA and Trinidad and Tobago.
Notably, defending champions England, runner-up Pakistan, and semi-finalists New Zealand will not play any warm-up matches. Instead, they are engaged in other cricketing activities. The warm-up matches will take place at various venues, including the Grand Prairie Cricket Stadium in Texas, Broward County Stadium in Florida, and Queen’s Park Oval and Brian Lara Cricket Academy in Trinidad and Tobago.
These fixtures will not have T20I status and will allow teams to field their entire 15-player squad. Additionally, fans can attend the match between the West Indies and Australia on May 30 at Queen’s Park Oval, Trinidad and Tobago. Tickets can be purchased online or at designated box offices.
